Butuan CityOn August 11, 2021, Regional Screening Committee (RSC) headed by Ma. Theresa M. Francisco & DOLE-Caraga OIC-RD Naomi Lyn C. Abellana successfully conducted the deliberation of regional nominees to the 2021 Search for Outstanding Labor-Management Cooperation (LMC) together with RSC members namely, Mr. Lyndon T. Buque and Mr. Jessie N. Pagaran, Management Representative and Mr. Ignacio Cupin, Labor Representative from Regional LMC Association.  

RSC deliberated the entries of the three (3) nominees for the 2021 Search for Outstanding LMC:   Unorganized Category
1. Agata Mining Ventures Inc (AMVI)  

Organized Category
1. Hinatuan Mining Corporation (HMC)
2. Taganito Mining Corporation  

The committee members screened, validated and evaluated the entries together with the documents submitted by the nominees, based on the criteria of the Search. The Committee conducted random interviews to the nominees as well.  

During the deliberation, Mr. Lyndon Buque, RSC Member, commended the video presentation of all the nominees and its full and detailed documentation of their best LMC practices. Further, he cited that each of the good LMC practice was substantiated with proper documentation.  

Dir. Ma. Theresa Francisco added that the benefits received by employees through the effort and commitment of LMC is a reflection of a sustained, active, and successful LMC in every company. The employees need not to demand additional benefits, especially during the pandemic, since through LMC it already foresees the need of its employees.  
After thorough deliberation, the committee in consensus decided to endorse the three (3) companies to National Screening Committee (NSC) for screening and selection of national finalists for the said Search.  
Further, the nominees were recognized and proclaimed as Regional Outstanding LMC per category and a Plaque of Recognition was presented to each winner.  

After the deliberation, Joint People Management Association of the Philippines (PMAP)-Caraga and Caraga Industrial Peace Practitioners’ and Advocates, Inc. (CAIPPA) meeting was conducted and plans and activities for the month of August and September 2021 was discussed. This includes the conduct of Advocacy Training of CAIPPA on August 31, 2021 and Strategic Planning of PMAP-Caraga on September 2, 2021.
